Julian Smith MP wishes good luck to students for upcoming mock trial competition

in Education/Ripon

Julian Smith has wished good luck to the students of Ermysteds Grammar and Ripon Grammar , who are competing in the regional heats of the Mock Trial Competition later this month.

The Bar Mock Trial competition is an opportunity for students aged 15-18 to gain an insight into the justice system by simulating a criminal trial. Students appear in real crown courts in front of real judges and are assisted in their preparations by professional barristers. The competition aims to help students develop their skills in logical reasoning and teamwork.

Julian Smith MP said:

I would like to wish students from both schools great success in their endeavours. I am sure they have been working hard to prepare, and would like to wish them best of luck for the competition.
