Motorcyclist dies in collision near Settle

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident happened on the B6480 at 8.20pm on Tuesday 5 June 2018.

It involved a green Triumph Tiger motorcycle and a red Triumph Stag motorcar.

The rider of the motorcycle was a 46 year old man from Lancashire and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the motorcar, a 60 year old man, and the front seat passenger, an 18 year old woman, were both taken to Airdale General Hospital with minor injuries.

Police would like anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who saw either vehicles prior to the collision, to get in touch.

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation is also asked to contact officers.
