High profile chairman maximises growth potential for Knaresborough marketing specialist

25 May 2014

Knaresborough-based KulaHub – a specialist in cloud based customer relationship management marketing systems – has appointed Ecademy co-founder Glenn Watkins as non-executive chairman.

Glenn’s strategic, IT and digital media and technologies expertise spans almost three decades with organisations including the Academy for Chief Executives and digital marketing and strategic advisors inVenturez. Co-launching Ecademy, which pioneered the first digital platform for business leaders to engage and learn, Glenn was also chief executive from 2002-2011.

Driving strategic growth and ambitious goals, Glenn’s appointment gives KulaHub a London presence as it secures accounts from membership organisations including Brand Yorkshire, Business in Yorkshire, Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber along with small and medium sized enterprises across wide-ranging sectors.

Glenn said: I met Andrew Booth, the founder of KulaHub through my role as chairman with the Academy for Chief Executives. On meeting the team and witnessing first-hand how easy the system was to use – and how one marketing campaign resulted in £250k of business for a very competitive investment – I was understandably impressed with, and excited by, the system’s potential.

The need for organisations and businesses to maximise cost effective, cloud based customer relationship management marketing systems to fuel growth, stay close to existing customers and attract new ones has taken on an unprecedented importance and KulaHub’s proven results maximise returns time and again.

KulaHub MD Ben Teggin said: Glenn’s strategic knowledge and powerful track record in digital marketing speaks volumes and we look forward to harnessing his expertise to turbocharge our goals.
