Trooper Woodcock, C Squadron, Royal Lancers, pilots a drone during Exercise LUCKNOW LANCER, Scotland. Exercise LUCKNOW LANCER, taking place across July 2022, sees the Royal Lancers maintain their reconnaissance skills while preparing for Operation CABRIT (Poland) in the Galloway Forest, Scotland. The Lancers are joined by elements of the Household Cavalry Regiment, the Royal Artillery, the Royal Danish Army, and the US Air Force. In total, around 750 personnel are to be involved with the exercise, making it one of the largest in the UK this training year.
