Ripon Grammar School has been named by the Sunday Times as the top-performing school in the North for the sixth successive year.
Jonathan M Webb, Headmaster of Ripon Grammar School, said:
Once again I am absolutely delighted that Ripon Grammar School has been named the top performing state school in the North for the sixth consecutive year.
A Level results strengthened once again this year and our Progress 8 score for GCSE places us in the top 60 schools in the country.
Of particular note has been the success of students in our boarding community where specialist facilities, tutorial and peer support play such an important role in fostering their personal development.
These results bear testimony to the hard work and dedication of staff and students at this school.
