CCTV released of alleged Harrogate vodka thief

21Harrogate police are investigating the theft of five bottles of vodka from a town centre food store.

The thefts took place at  on two occasions from Marks and Spencer on Cambridge Street:

  • at around 4.30pm on Sunday 21 September 2014
  • shortly after 12noon on Monday 22 September 2014

The man is described as white, around 6ft 4in tall and short brown hair. At the time he was wearing a white t-shirt, a striped hooded top, grey jogging bottoms with bright orange stripes.

PC Brendon Frith, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: It may be that the two people captured on camera had nothing to do with the thefts.

If this is the case I urge them to come forward straight away so I can eliminate them from my enquiries.

I am also keen to speak to anyone who recognises either of the people and ask them to get in touch with me as soon as possible.
