Robbery at Selby Post Office

Police are appealing for information regarding a  robbery which took place at around 5.20am on Wednesday 8 March 2017 at the post office on Flaxley Road in Selby.

At around 5.20am a man wearing a balaclava, a cream knitted beanie hat and a black jacket with two stripes down each arm, entered the post office and made threats towards a member of staff and demanded money for the till.

He then made off from the post office with a quantity of cash.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed anything which would assist the investigation to contact them on 101 and asked to speak to PC Gordon Doudie in the York Serious Crime Team. Alternatively you can email Gordon.Doudie@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
