North Yorkshire Police recently attended a violent incident on Woodfield Road in Harrogate.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said:
We were called to a report of a serious assault on a man in the Woodfield Road area of Harrogate at about 4.30pm yesterday (8 July).
A 30-year-old man from Harrogate was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in connection with the incident, and a 47-year-old man, also from Harrogate, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
