Two left injured in A1 collision

The collision involved a white Peugeot 308 and a white Mercedes Sprinter van.

  • North of junction 47 on the A1, at Allerton Park
  • At around 6am on Sunday 7 June 2015

The Peugeot caught fire and two men from Stockton on Tees were injured. A 36-year-old man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The other man, aged 43, is currently in a stable condition in Harrogate Hospital.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward with information.
