Ripon vandalism spree results in damage to 29 vehicles

Vandalism of at least 29 cars occurred during the evening of Saturday 8 March 2014 in Ripon.

Cars parked on Southgate, Aismunderby Road, Wakeman Road, Holmefield Road, King Edward Road, Princess Royal Road, Quarry Moor Road and Clotherholme Road, had their tyres slashed and body work scratched.

Ripon police are now appealing for information.

Sergeant Alex Butterfield , of Ripon Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: If you have any information about those responsible for these acts of utterly mindless vandalism, I urge you to contact the police straight away.

I am also keen to speak to anyone else who was the victim of a similar crime and has not yet reported it and ask them to get in touch.
