  • New venture the Food & Wine Place, has opened a wine bar and restaurant on the ground floor on Victoria Avenue.
  • Wool Room, has taken a 972 sq ft retail unit on Station Parade, as part of its on-going expansion.

Carter Jonas’ lettings agent Chris Hartnell, who has been behind the deals, said: Yet again Clarendon House is proving an attractive versatile centrally-located space, and one in which our new tenants will hopefully thrive.”

Adrian Marks, co-director at Actinista, explained the attraction of Clarendon House: We chose Clarendon House because of the quality of the office accommodation offered.

As a growing business dedicated to working in partnership with organisations to help them make change, we were keen to find offices that reflected the professionalism of our brand and the service we deliver to clients.

We will be proud to host client meetings and workshops from our new offices and are sure that many of our clients will find Harrogate accessible and interesting to visit as well as getting a lot from their work with Actinista.

Chris Tattersall, of the Wool Room, said: We are delighted to relocate to premises at Clarendon House, it’s the perfect location and the unit they offered is the perfect size to provide our customers the opportunity to try out our British wool bedding and beds, which deliver 25 per cent better sleep.

Catherine Ward-Brown, of the Food & Wine Place, said: Harrogate is known for its quality food and wine offerings, and we were keen to showcase our menu to the food elite here so it was essential we landed a central address. Clarendon House offers this as well as a decent passing trade, and good on street parking.

The building is now nearly fully let with only 2,520 sq ft of office space left on the first floor and 1,194 sq ft of office space on the fourth floor.
