Local woman injured in Knaresborough traffic collision

PolicePolice are appealing for information following a serious single vehicle road traffic collision in Knaresborough.

It occurred at around 11pm on Saturday 21 April 2012, on Wetherby Road, approximately 500 metres from St James’ retail park towards Wetherby. It involved a white Peugeot 206 which ended up on its roof.

As a result of the collision a 20-year-old local woman, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with serious injuries.

Traffic Constable Steve James, of North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group, said:

I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the incident.

Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is asked to contact Harrogate police on 101, press option 2 and ask for Steve James.
