Thunder Road Theatre Company presents HYDE

Following a sell- out run at Harrogate Theatre Thunder Road return with Hyde.

Combining the Victorian atmosphere of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic thriller with a modern energy, Hyde tells the story of two men united by their past but separated by change.

THE BATTLE OF GOOSE GREEN: A TALK BY PETER KENNEDY

29 May 2012 is the 30th anniversary of the Battle of Goose Green; the first decisive land battle of the Falklands War of 1982.

Follow the battle from the perspective of a Yorkshire-born paratrooper who fought in it. Peter Kennedy led the final attack at Goose Green to capture the last hill and the enemy flag on its summit. He was second in command of C Company 2 PARA, and took over the company in the closing stage of the battle when his company commander was wounded.

Understand how this close-run battle was fought, and experience the buzz and occasional terror of combat.
