Theakston’s Second Brewer Comes First In Exams And Wins Prestigious Industry Award (For immediate release) A North Yorkshire brewer has won a prestigious industry award after attaining the highest marks in a nationally recognized qualification. Dan Miller, T&R Theakston Ltd’s second brewer, has won the Worshipful Company of Brewers’ Livery Award after passing his General Certificate in Brewing examination with flying colours. He will be presented with his award by the Master Brewer at a ceremony being held in London next April. Dan, who has worked at the Masham brewery for a decade, said: “I’m thrilled to win this national award.
