A walk has been organised titled ‘Save Rotary Wood – Again!’ and is part of the campaign to save the Rotary Woods from development.
Sarah Gibbs said:
Meet at 11:00 at Harrogate Conference Centre to walk together through town, through the valley Gardens and up to Rotary Wood where we will share a cup of tea and some cake as we enjoy our beautiful Asset of Community Value woodland.
Feel free to bring a banner/placard or use one of the many provided. We welcome you to bring an instrument to play as we walk, such as a drum, and come in fancy dress if you choose to!
The aim of this walk is to raise awareness regarding the ongoing threat to our woodland, and bring a positive focus back onto our valuable green space.
