Man produces large knife in front of staff at Wetherby Service Station

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a knife incident that occurred at MOTO Service Station, Wetherby.

It happened at around 8:30pm on 5 November 2020 when a man entered the Service Station and produced a large knife in front of staff at the fast food counter.

An arrest has since been made and a male has been released pending further enquiries.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information from those who were present at MOTO Services at the time and witnessed the incident.
