New date for Bilton Gala

Organisers of this year’s Gala in have set a new date for the .

It will take place at Richard Taylor Primary on Sunday 22 July, after being postponed because of poor ground conditions.

Heavy rain at the end of April left the field waterlogged and meant that it could not be used to stage the on 7 May.

Stuart Frost, chairman of the Gala committee, said:

We were really disappointed that it couldn’t go ahead as planned on the bank holiday Monday – especially because it ended up being the hottest in 40 years!

Once again, we’d like to thank our visitors, stallholders and entertainment providers for their support, understanding and patience.

As we all know, the best things come to those who wait, so please put the date in your diary and join us for another fantastic Bilton Gala.
