Drivers in hospital following traffic collision near Spofforth

The A661, between Spofforth and Wetherby, was closed this morning to deal with a road traffic – 15 February 2018.

The closure was to deal with a collision between a Skoda and Citroen.

Both drivers are being kept in hospital. The Skoda driver has muscular and soft tissue injuries with the Citroen driver receiving chest and abdominal injuries. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

It  was also one of the first occasions that the Roads Policing Group have used the new mobile tablets.
