Do you know someone who deserves a Volunteering Oscar?

Nominations are being sought for this year’s Volunteering Oscars.  Do you know someone who does a lot for the local community? It could be a friend, family member, a volunteer you work with or even a local business. Why not show your appreciation by nominating them for a Volunteering Oscar.

Each year the Volunteering Oscars celebrates the efforts of volunteers from across the District. The 8th annual Volunteering Oscars ceremony will take place at the Old Swan Hotel in on Friday 30th October 2015. There are 16 categories for nomination including Community Volunteer of the Year, Young Volunteer, Unsung Hero of and Sports Volunteer of the Year. If you would like to nominate someone you think deserves one of this year’s Volunteering Oscars complete the short online nomination form before the closing date 13th October 2015.
