Harrogate Women’s Project has raised £470 thanks to the proceeds of a Christmas sale held in the town’s Barclay’s Bank, which was match-funded by an anonymous donor.

The money will be used to provide resources for its Thursday Club – a weekly drop in session for women held each Thursday at Mowbray community Church, on Westmoreland Street, Harrogate, from 9.30am and-12.30pm.

The Thursday Club offers advice, support and friendship, plus crafts and hobbies, for women of all ages and from all walks of life. There is no charge to attend and women can bring preschool children.
