Fatal collision near Northallerton

On Sunday 7 September 2014, officers were called after a silver Ford C-Max was found off the road after leaving the A172 near the junction for Ingleby Cross.

The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old man from Northallerton, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing to anyone who was travelling along the A172 between Stokesley and Ingelby Cross between 9.35pm on Saturday 6 September and 3am on Sunday 7 September 2014, and saw a silver Ford C-Max to contact them with information.
