A touch of magic comes to the Pinewoods

Award Winning Harry Potter Artist Jason Cockcroft Confirmed for Irongate Project Information Board.

The Conservation Group are pleased to announce that award winning artist Jason Crockcroft has agreed to design the information board for the new Irongate Project. Jason Cockcroft was born in New Zealand and raised in , England. He is best known for his internationally acclaimed picture book illustrations and for his cover artwork for the final three Harry Potter books.
The Irongate Project is now well underway with new trees and flowers already being planted with a new path and picnic benches due to be installed shortly via The HACS Group. The information board, designed by Jason and built by Signs Express , will be the final part of this project.

Neil Hind, PCG Chair said: We were delighted when Jason agreed to help us on this project. The information board will be a key feature of the site giving background on the group and project whilst showcasing what may be seen on the site.


Jason added: I was delighted to be able to help with the artwork for this exciting project and to support the Pinewoods Conservation Group. Although no mystical creatures to draw there was a wide range of wildlife to choose from that the site is sure to attract.

An official opening is being planned for 19th July 2014 with a teddy bears picnic where the information board will be revealed as part of the official launch by Mayor Jim Clark.
