Police release photo of vehicle taken in Northallerton 2 in 1 burglary

Northallerton Police are investigating a 2 in 1 car burglary and have issued a photo of a stolen vehicle.

Overnight on 30 to 31 January 2014, a grey Volkswagen Golf Gti was taken from a house on Thirsk Road in Northallerton after thieves broke into the property and stole a handbag, the car keys and the vehicle which was parked on the drive.

Detectives believe the suspects may have travelled to the Manchester or Liverpool area in the Golf.

The car was fitted with distinctive black and silver wheels and officers are appealing to anyone who has seen a car matching its description, knows where it is now, or has been offered the wheels for sale to contact them.
