Man charged over theft of donations outside charity shop

A 35-year-old local man has been charged with the theft of charity donations from outside the Saint Michaels charity shop in Starbeck, Harrogate.

He was arrested at around 9pm on Sunday, 6 October 2013.

A member of public notified the police after seeing  items that they had left outside the shop were in fact  listed for sale on-line.

The man from Globe Street in Harrogate is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 24 October 2013.
