Pinewoods Open Day 2013

Final is underway for the Conservation Group Open day. The , to take place 11am to 3pm Saturday 14th September is expected to be the largest and most successful event to date.


The event, sponsored by Audi , will host a number of stalls and events throughout the day. The highlight is expected to be Owl Displays scheduled for 12pm and 2pm. Other events will include tree climbing, the opportunity to operate a mini digger plus a planned visit from a engine. There will also be a number of stalls including refreshments, face painting, badge making, Yorkshire Rotters and many more.

The group also has a prize raffle with some excellent prizes including an Audi for the weekend, a free valet and a William and Vics £25 gift voucher.

Neil Hind, Vice Chair said:

I am really looking forward to what will be my first open day. We have had amazing support from local businesses and the community with some amazing raffle donations and other contributions. With events for all ages I would urge the whole family so come along to see what we have going on.

The event is free with parking available at the council nurseries off Harlow Moor Road.
