Harrogate Christmas Market set to expand with food and drink marquee

7 August 2013

The Harrogate Christmas Market is set to return to Montpellier Hill between 28 Nov and 1 Dec 2013.

There will be more than 140 chalets, mini-marquees, traditional market stalls and outdoor gazebos selling everything from Yorkshire cheeses and chutneys to handmade gifts and Christmas decorations –  it’s all about quality Yorkshire and Harrogate products.

Good news this year in that the organisers have decided to include a food and drink marquee which will have café-style tables and chairs for visitors to relax and enjoy the Yorkshire produce on offer.

Also new for this year will be a large Craft and Gift Marquee.

The Christmas lights will be officially switched on at a celebration outside the Victoria Shopping Centre on Thursday 21st November from 4pm to 6pm.

The whole of the town centre will then be lit up every evening with the glow of thousands of festive lights, throughout the four-day Christmas Market and right up until the end of December.
