Library helps with IT skills

29 August 2012

If you are having problems with your computer knowledge or skills and don’t know where to turn, then Knaresborough library can help.

From Saturday 8th September free one-to-one advice sessions will be available with a volunteer IT consultant.

Help will be on hand on Saturday mornings between 9.30 and 10.30, though pre-booking is essential.

County Councillor Chris Metcalfe, North Yorkshire’s Executive Member for Libraries said:

Libraries are centres of learning for the whole community and can support people to build up essential skills. Know-how in information technology is a must in today’s world, so where better to pick up tips than your local library.
