HBCAt a  meeting yesterday (25 April 2012) Harrogate Borough Council made a decision to outsource the Hugh Ripley Hall in Ripon on the condition that it remains as a community facility.

A third party will take over the lease and assume responsibility for the day to day running of the Hall for a period of two years, and at the end of that time a review of the use will be made.

This is part of a cost saving measure with the aim of saving £17,600 per annum.
