Rita Tuska from Joseph Ferraro Hair in Harrogate has been awarded one of the highest hairdressing accolades in the World, winning Gold in the Editorial Look Category at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award International Final 2021 – one of the world’s most prestigious annual hairdressing competitions.
Despite the challenging climate in 2020, Rita has gone the extra mile to enter this iconic competition and have made it through many stages to finally be crowned a worthy winner. The competition saw more than 5000 entries from 28 Countries across the 6 categories and the standard of work has been remarkable – allowing only the very best to reach the International Final and gain a winning status.
Winning an award in the Editorial Look category demonstrates exceptionally creative hairdressing skills, and the ability to transform hair from ordinary to a truly show-stopping style.

I put my heart and soul into this look and I’m so glad the judges could see my vision. Even though this year was completely different, I loved every minute of it and it’s so good to finish on the high.
I cannot tell you how much this means to me, its definitely the proudest moment in my career. I can’t thank Joseph enough to always supporting me, as I could not have done it without him.
Rita competed against some of the most talented and creative hairdressers around the world to take home Gold at the Wella Professionals International TrendVision Award in the Editorial Look Category.
Rita will receive an incredible prize including a beautiful commemorative trophy and will be invited to join the Sebastian Insider Community and the chance to participate in Global creative events.
