A small service of remembrance took place today at the Commonwealth War Graves, Stonefall Cemetery, in

The event was led by Rev David Hoskins. Wreaths were laid by Mike Bevington, who began the services at Stonefall in 1997.

Manuel Camacho stood in for the President of Harrogate Brigantes who is currently locked down in Spain. David said some prayers and a few words, the wreaths were laid, For the Fallen was read, the Last Post was played on a mobile phone, the two minute silence was observed and the Kohima Epitaph was read.

The war dead were remembered appropriately in difficult circumstances.
