Woman taken to hospital for treatment and support following Kings Road incident

The service called for assistance at a flat on Kings Road in at 12.19pm on Friday (11 Oct 2019) after a distressed woman was making threats to harm herself and others.

Officers from the Firearms Support Unit attended and the woman was safely detained at 12.40pm.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment and support.
