Harrogate man wanted for recall to prison after failing to attend appointments

officers in are searching for a wanted man who has been recalled to prison.

Dean Brian Auton, aged 35, was released on licence from HMP Hull on 27 November 2018, having been sentenced to 28 days’ imprisonment at Magistrates Court for theft on 14 November.

However, his release licence was revoked by HM Prison & Probation Service on 10 December, and he has been recalled to custody, after he failed to attend appointments with his supervising probation officer, failed to reside at an approved address, and displayed poor behaviour.

Auton has connections to Harrogate and Harringay in London. North Yorkshire Police officers are searching for him in Harrogate, and are asking anyone who sees him or knows where he is to get in touch.
