Consolidated Property Group (CPG), has announced that it will be holding a further public consultation event so that local residents can comment on amended plans for Harrogate Spa Retail Park in Skipton Road.
CPG recently secured planning permission for a new retail warehouse scheme on the former NE Gas Offices site, Skipton Road on which Tesco received planning permission for a large foodstore in 2012.
However, the developer has recently received strong interest from discount foodstore operators to locate within the scheme.

In view of this interest we are now looking to progress with a revised scheme including a discount foodstore. The remainder of the scheme will reflect the current approved plans with a DIY store and a range of non-food units.
A number of technical reports, including transport, noise and retail assessments, are currently being updated to reflect the inclusion of a discount foodstore in the scheme. The consultation event will therefore showcase the revised plans and enable CPG’s consultant team to answer any questions that local residents raise.
The public consultation event will be held in the Duchy Room, First Floor, The Cairn Hotel, Ripon Road, Harrogate HG1 2JD on Wednesday, 12th December 2018 between Noon – 7pm.
