Currently in the middle of a massive UK wide tour, Paul Foot brings his latest brand new show to Knaresborough’s Frazer Theatre, following a sell-out debut in 2017.

One of the most inventive and unique voices in the stand-up community, Paul has gained massive acclaim by following his own path, with observations on life as wilfully surreal as they are hilarious. The mad-professor of comedy will move from pondering the plight of the soft-shelled crab to the nature of the universe in the blink of an eye, pivoting from pure silliness to social satire with ease.

Saturday 17 November, The presents Paul Foot: Image Conscious.

Frazer Theatre Vice-Chairman John Pearce said:

It’s always a great pleasure to play host to such a respected name as Paul Foot here at the Frazer Theatre.

We work tirelessly to bring the very best in comedy to Knaresborough and the fact that somebody with Paul’s status immediately booked a return visit following last year’s very successful show shows that the warmth and dedication of our audience is paying off.

Image Conscious has received fantastic write-ups, with some describing at Paul’s best work to date.

We’ve been patiently waiting for our chance to finally see it and we’re certain it’s going to be another home-run.

Paul Foot: Image Conscious has received five-star reviews both at the Edinburgh Festival and at previous stops on his national tour, with Broadway Baby proclaiming it as “absolute textbook Paul Foot stand-up comedy gold” and Fest Mag describe it as “…an eccentric and exuberant routine from an eccentric and exuberant comic”. Fans (or, as he would have it, “connoisseurs”) of Paul will not be disappointed, with all of his trademark wit and invention in full effect, while those experiencing Mr Foot for the first time are primed for one of the most singular experiences of their lives!
