Henshaws Specialist College in , North Yorkshire is holding a free transitions this Saturday 7 October from 1.30pm – 4.30pm.

The Leisure, and Work Fair is aimed at young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.  It brings together organisations from across Yorkshire to help visitors plan for their future and discover new activities in their local area.

Exhibitors include NYPACT, REMAP, Core Assets, Mind the Gap (Bradford), Yorkshire Care Equipment and more as well as Henshaws Yorkshire services.

Henshaws Specialist College staff will also be sharing their knowledge and experience via short talks about: accessing specialist education, the student experience, and therapies and wellbeing.


Lisa Hart, Henshaws Specialist College Deputy Principal, said

Henshaws offers person-centred, accessible support services for disabled people across Yorkshire.  If we don’t offer what you need we aim to put you in touch with an organisation than can help. Our Leisure, and Work Fair allows us to do just that in a very direct manner. We look forward to welcoming our exhibitors and visitors to this popular .
