Man charged with being drunk and disorderly in Harrogate Town Centre

A 28-year-old man from Harrogate has been charged with being drunk and disorderly in Harrogate Town Centre last night.

At around 11pm Thursday 20 July 2017, Police were contacted with a report of a man acting in an aggressive manner and causing a nuisance outside The Blues Bar on Montpellier Parade in Harrogate.

Local officers attended and initially moved the man on. He left the area, but then was seen to strike out at a bin and car and was then arrested.

He was taken into custody at Harrogate Police station and charged to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 8 August 2017.
