Lone 2-year-old boy found in York

are appealing for information to identify a 2-year-old boy who was found in the Ostman Road area of Acomb in at around 7am this morning, Sunday 19 March 2017.

Update 19 March 2017 at 09:50 – the child’s parents have now been located.

The boy, who is currently being cared for by officers, is thought to be between 18 months to 2-years-old and is wearning red pyjamas with figures on.

Anyone who recognises the boy, or who has any information which could help police locate his parents or carers is asked to dial 101, select option 1 and speak to the Force Control Room. Please quote reference -19032017-0114
