Knaresborough Police looking to re-unite owners with stolen jewellery

Knaresborough Police in Knaresborough are appealling for the owners of suspected stolen jewellery.

The jewellery was found in a pillow case at the side of the A59 near Whixley between York and Harrogate in May 2015.

Police suspect they were dumped by the thieves as they are not of significant value.

A money tin, old coins, a jewellery box and foreign currency were also found in the pillow case.

Anyone who believes the items are theirs are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Robert Howe.
