Six Raworths partners recognised as legal leaders

Chambers and Partners 2016, the leading independent directory for the legal profession has recognised six partners at the Harrogate law firm, Raworths, as Leaders in Their Field.

Zoe Robinson is recognised with Carmelita Ardren in Family and Matrimonial in York, Hull and surrounds and combines her work in this field with managing the firm and being Head of Private Client. This is also Carmelita’s second inclusion in the directory and she heads up the Family Law specialism within the firm. Both Zoe and Carmelita are trained collaborative lawyers and members of Resolution and of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel.

Christopher Butterworth is a consultant partner. He has been recognised at national level for his work in mediation having been an accredited and sought after mediator since 1995. He is a member of the Court of Appeal Mediation Panel and a member of the Panel for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has mediated for governments and internationally and is also a specialist on agricultural and rural law matters.

Deborah Boylan, who is the head of the Employment Law team at the firm has been recognised in Yorkshire for a fifth year running for her work in Employment. Deborah leads a team of five employment specialists at Raworths. She is an accredited CEDR mediator and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She specialises in providing strategic advice to employers on all aspects of employment issues including human resource issues, TUPE, restructuring and how to avoid claims being brought in Employment Tribunals.

Simon Morris, head of Corporate/Commercial at Raworths is recognised as a leader in the field of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions for SME and owner-managed businesses. This is the fourth year his work has been especially marked out as amongst the best in the region.

Partner Jonathan Mortimer who heads up the Dispute Resolution team at Raworths is recognised for his work in litigation. Jonathan is also the Independent Chair of the Justice Panel for North Yorkshire.
