Harrogate lawyer Claudia Gilham has been appointed to the committee of Young Resolution in West and North Yorkshire.
Young Resolution is a division of the family law body Resolution that promotes the organisation’s non-confrontational approach to family law issues amongst junior family law practitioners.
Claudia joined Harrogate Family Law earlier this year from a large city law firm in Birmingham.
Claudia said:
I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to play an active role in Y Res regionally and to communicate Resolution’s principles to young family lawyers across North and West Yorkshire.
This is an exciting time for family law with recent legislative changes putting the emphasis firmly on the best interests of the family.
Young lawyers have an important role to play in helping to shape the future of our family justice system and Y Res is at the forefront of that process.
