Harrogate law firm McCormicks has appointed a new Trainee Solicitor.
Carol Hancock has in-depth experience of a range of Family Law issues, including disputes involving children and domestic violence problems.
She joined the firm in 2012 after receiving a commendation from the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York, and was promoted to Legal Assistant at the beginning of this year.
The head of Family Law at McCormicks, Geoff Rogers, said: Carol has proved to be an invaluable member of the team and has a real understanding of what happens when families break up and what needs to be achieved to resolve the issues.
I am delighted we have been able to award her a Training Contract and I look forward to continuing to work with her.
Family Law was one of 19 legal disciplines for which McCormicks received recommendations in a leading legal guide, the UK Legal 500, this month, beating the firm’s previous record for recommendations.
