A mountain bike, valued at £4,700 has been stolen from outside a supermarket in Harrogate.
The Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Carbon Evo 14 was stolen at 5.35pm on Thursday 17 July 2014, from outside the Morrisons supermarket on Plumpton Park.
The bike has a distinctive two tone carbon frame and had been left securely locked.
PC Lucy Ray, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: If you witnessed the theft of the Stumpjumper or have seen the bike since it was stolen, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.
I would also recommend that cycle owners register their bikes on www.immobilise.com. This will mean that when the police recover it, they will be able to return the bicycle to its rightful owner.
