Emergency Services were called today (1 July 2014) to the A61 near Buttersyke Bar/ Pannal.
The incident happened at around 11am and involved a Peugeot 207 and a Honda Jazz.
The female driver of the Peugeot was not trapped and appeared uninjured but was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up.
The female driver of the Honda was trapped in her vehicle and was released by fire crews before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
