Raworths, the Harrogate law firm, has made a raft of promotions amongst its team of fee earners including solicitors and chartered legal executives.

Managing partner, Zoe Robinson said: These appointments are in line with our strategy to recognise those individuals who have shown that they not only excel in their field but demonstrate that they have excellent client focus and who add value to our firm.

There are now five senior associates, with three of the new appointees joining Matthew Hill of Dispute Resolution and head of the Commercial Property team, Alasdair Inglis. The new senior associates are: chartered legal executive, Joanna Broadhead, a specialist in Family Law and, in particular, financial settlements; Sally Togher, an established employment lawyer and Sarah Minors, another family lawyer and a specialist in children issues and currently the youngest-ever President of the Harrogate and District Law Society.

In addition, there are three new associates: Kate Maybury, a solicitor, and trainee chartered legal executive Laura Leach both in the Trusts, Wills and Probate department under new partner Rachel Tunnicliffe; and Elizabeth Pollock, an experienced solicitor in the Employment team.

Zoe Robinson, Raworths managing partner said: These are all outstanding individuals who richly deserve this recognition. As a board of management, we have introduced targets, competencies and performance objectives and decided it was important to recognise those individuals who are contributing to the success and development of the firm as a whole. We look forward to making more promotions of this kind in the future.

Zoe Robinson became managing partner in 2013 and is part of the board of management of the firm which comprises partners Simon Morris and Deborah Boylan and partner consultant Christopher Butterworth. The firm has ten partners and thirty fee earners in total.
