Appointments and promotions support growth for Harrogate PR agency

PR agency, Acceleris has continued to grow with the appointment of a new account manager, Lisa McGauley and a series of promotions across the team.

Lisa, who has a degree in PR from Metropolitan University, joins the agency from an in-house role as PR manager for a leading telecoms provider and brings 10 years’ experience to Acceleris having also worked in some of the leading agencies across Yorkshire.

Lisa will be working on integrated PR campaigns for clients incorporating services such as media relations, management and social media for clients in the public and private sectors around the UK.

Acceleris has further strengthened its senior team with the promotion of Ellie Smith to the role of Senior Account Manager. Since joining the agency in 2010, Ellie has managed award winning campaigns across a number of disciplines such as community relations, crisis management, social media and media liaison for clients including the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, Kier, the construction, services and property group and the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations.

After a little more than a year at Acceleris, Laura Cushley has moved up to Senior Account Executive after supporting on campaigns for the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society, Kier Property and High Street TV.

During 2013 Acceleris added some major new names to its client portfolio. It was appointed to handle all national and regional PR work for the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations, the rapidly expanding Meridian Motor Group as well as undertaking a number of crisis management projects.
