Distinctive ornaments stolen in Harrogate burglary

Harrogate Detectives are investigating a burglary thay took place during the early hours of Saturday 4 January 2014.

Thieves broke into a property on Oakdale, Harrogate, while the occupants were out, and took some antique jewellery and ornaments.

ornamentsOfficers are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

They would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered any of the stolen property. Some distinctive items were stolen in the burglary including four Royal Doulton figurines of war evacuees.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Detective Constable Fiona Saunderson or Harrogate CID.
