Three vehicle collision on A61 Ripon to Thirsk road

Emergency services were called at 2.15pm on 30 September 2013 to a three vehicle collision on the A61, Ripon to Thirsk Road.

The incident happened on the Thirsk side of Hutton Bank and involved a Renault Megane, a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Qashqai.

There have beeb three injuries – two taken to Harrogate District Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. One woman, aged 49, was airlifted to LGI also with injuries that are not life threatening.

Recovery services on the scene.

Any witnesses should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
