Reported aggravated burglary in Pateley Bridge.

At around 1.15pm on Wednesday 25 August 2013, a man is said to have forced his way into a house on Millfield Street and stolen items from the property after threatening the homeowner.

Chief Inspector Ian Thompson, of said:

Following a report of a , we deployed the appropriate resources, to to ensure everybody’s safety.

Nobody was hurt in the incident and we now have local officers, detectives and Scene Investigators in the area investigating what happened.

Air support from West Yorkshire Police supported the search for the individual.

Anyone with information that can help the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
