19 year old Harrogate College Apprentice Oliver Wright has just completed a 1600 mile tour in two vintage cars.

Oliver toured Scotland, Ireland and Wales in a 1902 Decaville and completing the return leg in a 1910 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost.

Oliver from Skyreholme near Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire has just completed his Apprenticeship in Light Motor Vehicle with Distinctions at Harrogate College while working at J Wright and Sons Garage.

Apprentice Oliver Wright said:

I am really happy to have completed the level 3 Apprenticeship. I am excited to progress my career, restoring classic cars as I have a real passion for them.

Tutor Darren Watson said:

Oliver has shown a flair for the modern apprenticeship even though Oliver has been working mainly on vintage cars. This course has given Oliver a good foundations and understanding of how vehicles work and he will now develop his skills further by restoring and manufacturing parts for these vintage cars he works on.
