Harrogate man injured in North Rigton collision

PoliceA minor traffic accident occurred at 5pm on Wednesday 26 June 2013, on the A658 Harrogate to Bradford road, at crossroads near North Rigton.

The incident involved a black Volkswagen van which had travelled along Dunkeswick Lane and a blue Vauxhall Vectra travelling towards Pool-in-Wharfedale.

As a result of the collision, a 44-year-old man from Middlesbrough, driving the Vauxhall, and a passenger in the Volkswagen, a 22-year-old Harrogate man, suffered minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.

Traffic Constable Stuart Holden, of North Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Group, said:

If you were in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or saw either of the vehicles prior to the incident, I urge you to contact the police as soon as possible.
